Download Festival Cancelled

We are very sad to announce that Download 2020 will not be going ahead.

Download have announced on their Twitter account today (below)

With scenarios, information and restrictions  still changing on a daily basis it is difficult to even take a view on what will happen in the coming weeks and months.

All the events we are involved in except Download are telling us that they intend to operate as normal, so for now that is all the information we can tell you. You can each make your own mind up on which events may be vulnerable to cancellation but until we get official notification this is all we can say.

We shall of course carry out our obligations to the events which do go ahead when the restrictions are removed, if it is safe to do so without compromise to your health and that of the public and other site infrastructure operatives.

In the meantime please follow the government and WHO advice and keep yourselves and others safe.

Please note that any further cancellations are likely to be announced via social media from the event itself and we are unlikely to be informed before the public. This isn’t because they don’t care about you, it’s because they have commitments to a broader spectrum of people, festival goers, artistes, staff etc and this will be the quickest way to get the message out to everyone involved.

It is also likely that we will make statements via Social Media so it is worth following us on Facebook and Instagram on the links below.

If you have time on your hands, take a look at our Charter website  here and feel free to give us a call about any aspect of yachting or just a social call.
